Santa Claus is coming to town! Snug in his North Pole workshop, hat and coat hung at the ready, he’s making his list …and checking it twice in the gentle glow of the lamp light, consulting his trusty world globe for his night before Christmas course. Every elf knows his duty on the shop floor as the big night nears and toy manufacture reaches a fevered pitch. Every workbench sings with the happy music of tapping hammers and wood planes shaping Christmas gifts for every girl and boy. Chips fly and floor boards creak to the traffic of elfin feet. The sweet scent of fresh wood shavings, turpentine and paint waft through the air. In the background, concerned looking elves mount ladders to achieve the world’s most miraculous job of travel packing. Everything has to fit in that sleigh. Fortunately that giant sack of toys is infinitely flexible... almost bottomless! Moonlight betrays a shadow through the frosty window panes. Branches? No, antlers! …around back a reindeer in harness senses the moment of departure and quietly paws the snow in anticipation.

Matching gift tag attached reads "Merry Christmas" and awaits only your signature or imprinted greeting. Optional hanging hole for ornament use punched at top of card. Inspired by an unfinished design in our archives created by Lowell Hess, the art completing Lowell’s design is by graphic designer Barry Imhoff.

This free-standing rubber band activated Christmas Card Ornament pops up with no assembly to stand approximately 5 1/4" tall x 5 1/2" long x 2 1/4" deep, creating a wonderful folding diorama for Christmas display. Delivered inserted in crisp, white 5 3/4" x 7 5/8" envelopes, ready for mailing. Standard First-Class Letter postage.
